NOTICE
Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901) was one of the great names in French painting at the end of the 19th century, associated with the Post-Impressionist movement and the artistic effervescence of Belle Époque Montmartre. Close to Degas, Vuillard and Bonnard, he captured Parisian nightlife in works marked by a great modernity of style. A renowned poster artist, he revolutionized the art of lithography with his famous posters for the Moulin Rouge. His work is halfway between painting, drawing and printmaking.
