Jean PROUVÉ (1901-1984) Tout bois chair, circa 1946, with seat and back in molded plywood with oak veneer on two profiled rear legs and two front legs joined by a strut at the top with visible tenons. H.: 83 cm. - L. : 40.5 cm. - D. : 47 cm. Établissements Vauconsant Provenance : Private collection in Grenoble. This chair was acquired by Jean-Marie Rulland, architect and father of the current owner. Between 1947 and 1955, he worked for the Kaminsky firm, before practicing in Grenoble from 1956 to 1963 alongside Maurice Blanc, a collaborator of Jean Prouvé.
