NOTICE: Tony Soulié (b. 1955, Paris) has been a major figure in French New Abstraction since the 1970s. A multidisciplinary artist, he explores painting, photography, engraving, sculpture, installation and land art. His works, often described as "photopaintings", fuse photography and pictorial interventions, creating vibrant, expressive compositions. An avid traveler, Soulié draws his inspiration from a variety of landscapes, from volcanoes to metropolises, capturing the essence of the places he passes through. His work can be found in numerous public and private collections, including the Musée d'Art Moderne in Paris and the Utsunomiya Art Museum. A close friend of artists such as Pierre Soulages, Gérard Titus-Carmel and Jean-Michel Alberola, Tony Soulié continues to make his mark on the contemporary art scene with his innovative approach and commitment to the fusion of artistic disciplines.
