NOTICE
Le Thiet Cuong, born in 1962 in Hanoi, comes from a family of artists - his father is the writer Le Nguyen and his mother the filmmaker Do Phuong Thao - he studied set design and animation at Hanoi's National Film School. His early works were influenced by his childhood experiences, particularly during his evacuation to the countryside during the American war, where he spent his days drawing. His style was later inspired by Buddhist teachings, manifesting itself in simple compositions depicting everyday objects. His works have been exhibited in prestigious galleries such as the Thang Long Art Gallery in Hanoi, as well as in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo and New York, and feature in major public collections such as the National Museum of Singapore.
