NOTICE
Albert Féraud, a contemporary French sculptor, is renowned for his works in metal, which combine strength and lightness. Working mainly in stainless steel, he creates abstract sculptures with organic, dynamic forms, often composed of intertwined, welded elements that seem to defy gravity. His works explore movement and light, exploiting the reflections of metal to bring his compositions to life.
Féraud is part of the abstraction and kinetic art movement, alongside artists such as César Baldaccini and Michel Guino, with whom he shares a fascination for salvaged materials and welding techniques. Together, they explore the possibilities offered by metal, creating works that question the relationship between form, space and movement. Féraud's sculptures, often installed in public spaces, are appreciated for their ability to interact with their surroundings, inviting viewers to discover their many facets.
