Condition report available on request: contact@neo-encheres.com NOTICE Betty Hanns operates in the contemporary art scene alongside a number of artists who share a similar sensitivity to matter, space and nature. Among the artists close to her universe is Jean-Marie Fondacaro, a sculptor equally fascinated by organic forms and raw materials, who explores the relationship between full and empty, just as Hanns does in his work. Another artist worth mentioning is Christian Lapie, known for his monumental wooden sculptures, often installed in natural environments, a dialogue also found in Hanns' work. Their shared approach to the interaction between the work and its natural environment is a notable point of convergence. Étienne Viard, a contemporary metal sculptor, is also an artist whose concerns are close to those of Betty Hanns. Viard too works with industrial materials to create abstract forms, evoking forces in tension and balance, themes dear to Hanns. Finally, Richard Serra, although often working on a more monumental scale, is an international figure whose experiments with matter, weight and space can be compared to those of Hanns, particularly in the way he manipulates forms to create interactions with the surrounding space. These artists all share a common interest in materials, pure forms and a direct relationship with the environment in which their work takes place.
