NOTICE David Roentgen was a German cabinetmaker particularly appreciated for his impeccably finished mahogany furniture and perfectly oiled mechanisms made with his watchmaking partner Pierre Kintzing (1745-1816). His neoclassical production was a great success at all European courts. The French Revolution ruined him, depriving him of his clientele and assets.
